Metaform mine everything from salt to platinum, and all the things in between. This requires a huge variety of knowledge & expertise, which we have in spades! No matter the type, size, or location of an operation, Metaform have the skills and technology to get the job done.

Mining uses some of the largest machines ever built. Our biggest excavators are as long as 300m and over 100m tall! Not only that, but once extracted, resources also require processing to remove impurities, etc. and our refineries are the pinnacle of our business, of which the Asteroid Refinery & Engineering Station (ARES) on Mars is our finest accomplishment. All designed and built in-house by our world-class team of innovative engineers using the latest modelling techniques at the prestigious Moskin Wing of the VAU Research Facility.

Thanks to the visionary Volga Moskin, the discovery of hydronite turned out to be monumental for human development when Metaform founded & funded the VAU Research Facility, which was finally able to harness the elusive power of cold fusion, using the solid hydrogen in hydronite as its fuel. Cold fusion is a super safe and ultra clean energy source which not only makes power on Earth completely reliable and sustainable, but finally made space travel a viable reality. Now, practically all of our power comes from the miracle of cold fusion, thanks to hydronite. We’d simply be lost without it!

Mining asteroids is now our core business, but moving citizens, science & habitation equipment, food & water, oxygen generators, spare parts and, of course, hydronite, between Earth and the various colonies of the Expansion, is a highly choreographed logistical operation that must be executed with near perfection every time.
