A HISTORY
OF METAFORM
01Metaform’s founder, Volga Moskin, was born in MCD93 into a family steeped in mining heritage. Humans have been digging resources out of the ground since we were able to hold a stick, and over the years we’ve perfected the art of extraction for everything from prismatic rock to perilous uranium. And Moskin's ancestors were there for every step of the way, powering our advancements in design and technology: from steam engines making their debut, to when fossil fuels dominated our skies, and into the advanced era of nuclear power.
It was Volga Moskin Sr who first suggested joining corporations together for better efficiency, but it took the genius of Volga Moskin Jr to envision how pulling all of the great mining houses under one roof would create the greatest powerhouse humanity had ever seen.
VOLGA MOSKIN’S VISION
And in MD23, Metaform was finally fully realised, incorporating every mining operation on, and off, the planet; second only in scale to Novalink, the great communications company.
The almost limitless resources and knowledge that came with this great merger allowed Moskin to dig deeper into the Earth’s crust than anyone before them, discovering a new mineral that we have come to know and love as hydronite. Although, not everyone could see the promising nature of this super mineral at first. It was up to Metaform to break the bonds of tradition and build a brand new, forward-thinking, research facility, the VAU, away from old-fashioned academia, where hydronite’s true potential could be unlocked. And in MD54 history was made when the VAU created stable cold fusion for the very first time.
